Mommy Make Over- Abdominoplasty and Liposuction
Monday, November 15th, 2010This 22 year old female patient from Hesperia, California was left with damaged muscle and loose skin after giving birth to twins and was interested in the mommy makeover procedure. She was referred by a close friend and was very impressed with Dr. Pousti’s experience in abdominoplasty surgery.

This patient’s pregnancy left the patient with loose skin, damaged muscle and stubborn fat. The muscle damages occurs during pregnancy when the abdominal wall muscles are separated. Abdominoplasty surgery will be performed on this patient to correct this.

Measurements and markings of the tummy tuck are made in a sterile fashion. The outer lines will be brought into the center to repair the muscle and bring the waist in for a nice result.

After the muscle repair is performed the excess skin is removed and a new belly button is made.

As a second stage to the patient’s mommy makeover, liposuction of the back and flanks is performed to help contour the patient’s new body.

Markings and measurements are made prior to this procedure as well. Liposuction is used for stubborn fat that can not be removed through diet and exercise. Incisions for the procedure are generally one quarter inch in length and are placed in inconspicuous skin folds.

The patient is extremely happy with her initial results and loves her new body.
